Submitting Items for the Site

This kit site is a mosaic of data collected from all over the web, and the world. Many people have submitted data or are working on data to be included on the page. I encourage all to contribute what they can to help make this site as useful as possible. I promise to try to get your contributions incorporated within one week of submission. Also, I will try to give credit to every person that sends me information. If I somehow forget to give you credit for what you have sent in, or have found the data somewhere else, that you created, please send me a e-mail.

Submitting Data to be Included on this Site

Pictures

I can link to pictures on other pages, or other web sites. If you have a place to upload the pictures to, just e-mail me the url, and I will add the link.

You may e-mail me pictures. Please feel free to zip them up if you wish, especially if you have multiple pictures. I can handle any format (jpg, gif, tif, bmp or whatever). I do reserve the right to edit the images for fit and size to minimize download times. I am going to try to keep picture size small enough to fit a screen set at 800x600 and under 75kb (I hope nobody is still using 640x480). Send whatever you have as I can resize as needed.

If I receive multiple pictures of the same item, I will chose the best one, and use that. I will save all the old pictures and if given time and space on my internet providers server will make arrangements to handle multiple pictures.

If possible, I would like to get a frontal, back, inside and underneath image. I can combine multiple images into one for ease of access. If you only have a front view, please send it in. One is better than none.

Specifications

If you would like to send in material for the specifications section of the matrix, I can handle plain text files, M.S. Word files, RTF files and WordPerfect files.

If you would like to add something to the file that is already listed, please download the file first, and then add your information. This will save me lots of time.

The specifications can have anything in them. One suggestion is to take what is printed in the catalog and include it. Any other info is also welcome.

Schematics

There are always people looking for copies of manuals. A good Schematic is all that is needed in many cases. If you have a scanner, and would like to submit schematics please send them to me. I will post them for all to use! If you have a complete (or partial) manual you would like to share, the best place to contribute is BAMA - the Boat Anchor Manual Archive site.

Other information

Just e-mail the information, and I will include it. This includes mod files, links, and such. If you have a business which sells products, information or services of interest to those who visit this site, please send your information so it can be included.
