Calibration Procedure

· With the power supply off, both meter pointers should be over the zero indication on each meter face.  If they are not, turn the mechanical zero-adjust screws at the bottom of each meter until the pointers are properly aligned.

NOTES

· Remove all loads from the supply terminals.

INITIAL TEST

(    )         Set the POWER switch to the OFF position.

(    )         Set the RANGE switch to the 6 VOLTS position.

(    )         Adjust the VOLTAGE CONTROL to the maximum counter-clockwise position.

(    )         Set the POWER switch to the ON position.

(    )         Adjust the VOLTAGE CONTROL slowly clockwise and observe the voltage meter indication.

(    )         The meter indication should go from 0 to over 10 volts.

· There should be 0 output indicated on the current meter.

(    )         Adjust the VOLTAGE CONTROL slowly to the maximum counter-clockwise position.

(    )         The VOLTAGE meter should slowly return to the 0 indication as the charge bleeds off the filter capacitor.

(    )         Set the RANGE switch to the 12 VOLTS position.

(    )         Adjust the VOLTAGE CONTROL slowly clockwise and observe the voltage meter indication.

(    )         The meter indication should go from 0 to over 15 volts.

· There should be 0 output indicated on the current meter.

(    )         Adjust the VOLTAGE CONTROL slowly to the maximum counter-clockwise position.

(    )         The VOLTAGE meter should slowly return to the 0 indication as the charge bleeds off the filter capacitor.

(    )         Set the POWER switch to the OFF position.

(    )         Calibration procedure is completed.
