The Heathkit Model VL-2280 Amplifier is a compact, 2-meter amplifier designed for all-mode (FM, SSB, CW, and RTTY) base operation. It is intended for use with any exciter (transmitter or transceiver) capable of delivering 1 to 10 watts of driving power. The amplifier output power is 75 watts normal with 10 watts of drive.
