Here is an excellent CW transmitter for the novice or general class amateur who appreciates
a clean, quality signal on the air! The efficient circuitry of the HX-11 features a single
6DQ6A final amplifier stage with full 50-watt plate power input and a 6CL6 crystal oscillator.
Amateur band coverage is 80 through 10 meters using either crystals or external high-output
variable frequency oscillator (VFO). Design features include single-knob bandswitching,
switched antenna relay power, pi-network output coupling, built-in low pass filter
(to suppress harmonic radiation), fixed neutralization (for high stability) and an
easy-to-read panel meter for final grid or plate current indication. Easy access to the
crystal socket is provided by a metal pull-out plug on the side of the cabinet.
Power supply is built-in with heavy-duty 5U4GB rectifier and "potted" transformer for
long, dependable service and trouble-free operation. Easy to build and operate with
complete instructions supplied.
