The HW9 Multi-band, CW Transceiver [Image] --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Description The HW-9 is a multi-band CW transceiver covering the 80, 40, 20, 15 meter bands (with the addition of the HWA-9 add on, it covers 30, 17, 12 and 10 meters). It has proved to be very successful with QRPers world wide. Whereas the two previous Heathkit transceivers, the HW 7 and HW8 were direct conversion, the HW9 is a superhet. It first appeared in the 1980s.
