Knight T-400 400 W Transmitter

This transmitter was introduced in late 1959 and advertised as available
in Feb 1960. It came as a base CW model with add-on modules to give AM,
SSB and other functions. It was advertised in QST for 10/59. This information
came from that advertisment.

600 watts PEP on SSB, 400 watts on AM and CW.

Covers 80, 40 20 10 and 15 or 6 meter bands. 

Built-in hetrodyne VFO.

Screen-clamp keying.

VFO keying for CW break-in.

14 inch dial.

Uses 7034/4X150A final amplifier.

Silicon rectifier power supply.

Front panel controls for VOX and anti-trip as well as
adjustable speech compression.
